Hey! I’m Simmy, the person behind the beauty services at my salon. I started this journey because I genuinely wanted to help people look and feel their best. Growing up, I struggled with confidence, and I noticed how much better I felt when I put effort into my appearance—whether it was doing my makeup or taking care of my skin. I always knew that helping others feel that same way was something I had to pursue.

I’m a people person at heart, someone who can make anyone feel comfortable and welcome. I grew up in a difficult childhood, which sparked my desire to do something meaningful with my life. I initially wanted to be a bridal makeup artist, but as I got deeper into my studies, I realised that adding more services to my offerings would make me even more passionate about my work. Over time, my love for beauty treatments and helping people transform themselves surpassed my initial love for makeup, and that’s why I now offer a range of treatments—because I truly love all aspects of beauty.

I’ve been in this industry for 10 years now, with 8 years of running my own salon. I’m always learning and growing, whether it’s attending courses, researching trends, or staying up-to-date on the latest treatments. I hold an SVQ in Beauty Therapy, and I’ve completed various courses like lash lifts, brow lamination, hybrid brows, SPMU brows, and makeup. My goal is to continue growing my skill set, and I’ve got a couple of courses lined up for this year to keep expanding my knowledge. I don’t believe in being a “jack of all trades,” and that’s why I focus on offering only the services I’m passionate about and truly excel at. Quality over quantity is my mantra, and I want every client to feel they’ve made a valuable investment in their experience with me.

My special skills? Well, I’m a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail. I have the patience to ensure every service is done to the highest standard. I want my clients to trust me, to know that I always have their best interests at heart, and that I will always go the extra mile. Every treatment, every touch, is infused with my passion for what I do. And if I don’t know something? I’ll find out. It’s all about being the best in the industry and staying ahead of the curve.

I’m all about creating a luxurious experience. That’s why I’m in the process of a complete salon renovation, with a focus on whites, golds, and high-end details to elevate your experience. When you come to me, I want you to feel pampered, cared for, and absolutely satisfied with your treatment. I want the whole experience to feel like a treat—not just the service itself, but the environment, the customer care, and everything in between. Plus, I’ll be launching a brand-new loyalty programme when I reopen, so stay tuned for that!

As for me, when I’m not at work, I’m focused on my mental health, spending quality time with family and friends, and taking care of myself. I’m a huge fan of coffee dates and food, I love cooking (when I get the time), and I enjoy hitting the gym. I find inspiration everywhere—whether it's scrolling Pinterest or getting lost in social media for ideas to bring into my salon.
