Every bride wants to feel picture-perfect from morning until the dance floor, and while my makeup is designed to last all day, the reality of happy tears and warm celebrations can mean the occasional refresh is needed.
That’s why I offer my exclusive Bridal Touch-Up Kit — a luxurious mini set of essentials including:
-
Your custom lip colour decanted into a travel gloss tube
-
A hydrating mini setting spray
-
Individually wrapped cotton buds (perfect for tears)
-
A thank-you note and exclusive bridal scratch card
-
Breath mints, a few thoughtful surprises, and a salon-exclusive treat card
This kit is my gift to:
-
Brides who book me on-location with a bridal party of a minimum 4+ people
-
Brides who book me for multiple services connected to their wedding journey (e.g. engagement, trial, hen party, etc.)
Salon-only brides are welcome to purchase the kit as an optional add-on for £20.
It’s a lovely luxury that keeps you feeling fresh, flawless, and confident all day long.
The Importance of a Makeup Trial
A makeup trial is more than just a test run—it's an essential step in crafting your dream bridal look. Here’s why:
-
Timing is Everything: Avoid scheduling your trial too early, as preferences, skin conditions, or hairstyles may change closer to the big day.
-
It’s a Collaboration, Not a Test: A trial isn’t about putting your makeup artist "on trial." It's about working together to perfect your bridal look and streamline the process for the wedding day.
-
Flexibility: After the trial, feel free to communicate any adjustments, such as a different lip color or lash style. This allows us to come fully prepared with exactly what you need.
While a bridal trial isn't mandatory, we highly recommend it for several reasons. Not only does it allow us to map out your makeup look in advance, ensuring it complements your vision, but it also means we can jump straight into application on the big day—giving us more time to perfect every detail. A trial helps us get to know your skin type, preferences, and any sensitivities, reducing the chances of any last-minute hiccups and ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience.
Pre-Wedding Beauty Prep
Preparation is key to ensuring your makeup looks flawless and lasts all day. Follow these tips:
-
Start Early: Begin skincare routines or facial treatments a few months before your wedding. This gives your skin time to heal if there are any reactions.
-
Avoid Last-Minute Changes: Never try new skincare products or treatments close to the wedding day to prevent unwanted surprises.
-
At-Home Skincare: Simple habits like cleansing, moisturising, and using lip balms can make a huge difference. For extra results, consider monthly facials with a licensed professional.
-
Waxing and Grooming: Let us handle your brow shaping or facial waxing a few days before the wedding. This helps makeup glide on smoothly and eliminates shadows for a flawless finish.

Once confirmed, I’ll send you a digital contract to sign (on-location bookings only). The booking fee must be paid to secure the date. -

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why do you recommend starting skincare months before the wedding?
Healthy skin provides the best base for makeup. It allows for smoother application and a more radiant finish. Starting early gives time to address any concerns like dryness, oiliness, dullness or spots.
Q: Can I make changes after the trial?
Absolutely! If you decide you want a different lash style or lip colour, just let us know ahead of time. We'll make sure to accommodate your preferences.
Q: Do you provide makeup services outside of salon hours?
Yes, but please note that an additional fee applies for services outside standard hours.
Q: What if I’m unsure about my skin type?
Don’t worry! During your consultation or trial, we can discuss your skin type and recommend the best prep routine to ensure your makeup looks flawless.
